Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node, Python, Angular)

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. You will own features end-to-end, from backend API design to Angular UI, on a live SaaS platform used by thousands of powersports, RV, marine, and ag dealers across North America. You will work closely with Tech Leads and product managers, contribute to technical decisions, and help raise the bar for the engineers around you.

Required Qualifications
• Advanced English
• Experience in full stack software development.
• Strong backend experience in at least one server-side language, such as PHP, Node.js, or Python. Prior PHP experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Experience building APIs and services with a backend web framework, such as CakePHP, Laravel, Express, NestJS, or FastAPI. Our stack is PHP (CakePHP) and Node.js, and we expect strong backend engineers to ramp up on it.
• Proficiency with Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Solid experience with MySQL, including query optimization and relational database design.
• Experience integrating and maintaining third-party APIs (SMS, email, voice, or similar).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (ECS, S3, CloudWatch, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality and system reliability.
• Comfortable working across distributed time zones in an async-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar in day-to-day engineering work.
• Experience with PHP, especially CakePHP or Laravel.
• Experience working with other Frontend frameworks such as Vue, React.
• Experience with Python (FastAPI or similar) for microservice development.
• Familiarity with Twilio, Nylas, or SendGrid API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodeBuild, or similar).
• Experience working on multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale.
• Exposure to integrating or building features powered by LLM-based services.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Jest, Karma/Jasmine, or pytest.

Key Responsibilities
Software Development
• Design, develop, and ship features across frontend and backend services for the DP360 CRM platform.
• Lead feature development end-to-end, from technical design through production deployment.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks and integration failures.
• Write clean, maintainable code and uphold engineering best practices across the codebase.

Full Stack Development
• Build and maintain backend APIs and services using PHP (CakePHP) and Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Develop frontend features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services including Twilio (SMS/voice), Nylas (email sync), and SendGrid.
• Collaborate with the AI team on integrations with the Python/FastAPI AI microservice.

Collaboration and Mentorship
• Partner with Tech Leads to implement technical designs and deliver project milestones.
• Work with product managers to translate requirements into well-scoped technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to mid-level engineers on the team.

Platform Reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket Pipelines and AWS CodeBuild.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using New Relic and Datadog.
• Support a containerized, microservices-based architecture deployed on AWS (ECS, ECR, CodeDeploy).
